How To Use
Preparation
- Due to the structure of Bostik Nail It Instant Grab, it is recommended to use a caulking gun with the right transmission in combination with the V nozzle supplied.
- For optimum performance, surfaces to be bonded should be clean and free of dust, wax, grease or any loose or flaking paint.
- Bostik Nail It Instant Grab adheres perfectly without the use of a primer on most non-porous substrates. Porous substrates should be pre-treated with Bostik Simson Prep P Primer. Always test adhesion prior to application as limitations may apply.
Application
- Apply adhesive with the provided V-nozzle in vertical stripes, leaving 10-20 cm distance in between. Ensure the V-Nozzle faces upwards throughout application, resulting in a clean triangular peaked bead of adhesive. DO NOT APPLY ADHESIVE IN DOTS.
- Bring the materials into position and press well to make sure that the thickness of the adhesive is a minimum 2-3mm between material and surface.
- Because of the high initial strength, support during curing is usually not necessary.
