How to use
PREPARATION
Before first use, screw the nozzle onto the tube and remove the cap. The surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from any dust and grease.
APPLICATION
- Apply a small amount of Super Glue Ultra+ to one of the surfaces to be bonded. Do not use items like tissue or a brush to spread the adhesive.
- Align the items to be bonded and when you’re happy with the position, press the two surfaces together and hold for 15 seconds.
- Once the glue is dry, you can sand and paint it. Gently sand the edges of the glue until the desired effect is achieved. Then, with a fine paintbrush, paint the area you wish to cover.
CLEANING
Clean the nozzle after each use and screw the cap on tightly to ensure the glue doesn’t dry out.
How to remove
Had an accident and wondering ‘what removes super glue?’. It’s reassuring to know that most super glues can be difficult to remove as they have good resistance to most oils and solvents, which gives them their ultra strong and long-lasting properties.
As a rule, acetone or rubbing alcohol can very slowly soften set super glue to help remove it. This substance is extremely flammable so take extreme caution with use and follow the product’s instructions. As with all solvents, the acetone should be tested first on a small area.
